Each ONA bag is named after a place that founder Tracy Foster has traveled, all the way from Camps Bay in South Africa (where she came up with the idea for ONA) to her favorite neighborhoods in New York, like Brooklyn and Chelsea. The entire ONA team loves to travel, and we adore living vicariously through our customers who take ONA bags to new and beautiful places.
Weddings are meant to be the most beautiful day in a couples’ lives, so it’s no wonder that wedding photographers often traipse around the globe from one gorgeous location to the next. Based in Alberta, Canada, David Guenther is most often surrounded by majestic snow-covered mountains and stunning lakes. He recently traded in the evergreens and snowflakes for palms and sand, soaking up the sunshine and carrying his Union Street Messenger Bag as he shot a wedding in Oahu.
“I travel a lot for weddings, and it’s extremely important that I have a camera bag that’s both versatile and durable. I’ve never had the right mix of something that I can stuff a bunch of gear into, but also use during a wedding while I’m dressed up and moving quickly. The Union Street bag is perfect. My trip to Oahu was the first time I’d used it, and I managed to fit all my gear into it for the trip. It’s super comfortable, and feels totally solid and secure. We were caught in a downpour one day and the bag got soaked, but kept my camera dry. The best part about this bag, and all Ona bags, is that I can carry it around as my everyday bag and feel cool. I love the style. It’s easily the best camera bag I’ve ever used, and I’ll have it for a long, long time.”
