Each ONA bag is named after a place that founder Tracy Foster has traveled, all the way from Camps Bay in South Africa (where she came up with the idea for ONA) to her favorite neighborhoods in New York, like Brooklyn and Chelsea. The entire ONA team loves to travel, and we adore living vicariously through our customers who take ONA bags to new and beautiful places.
We’re constantly intrigued by the wide variety of lifestyles and career paths for photographers, especially when it’s crafted around a love of travel. Although he’s based in Pennsylvania, John Barclay is often on the road to lead photography workshops and give inspirational speeches. His current workshop line-up includes learning about light in Hawaii, capturing late summer in Cape Cod and seeing the perfect fall foliage in the Poconos. He was kind enough to share photos from a recent workshop in Trinidad and Havana in Cuba, where he carried his Union Street Messenger Bag and Leather Bowery Bag.
